NipponMoto Fitment Importer Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the NipponMoto Fitment Importer, an internal tool operated by NipponMoto / Nippon Machines. It covers the importer, not all activity on our online store.
Information we process
The importer is intended to retrieve our authorized eBay seller account’s listing identifiers, SKUs, product titles, and motorcycle compatibility information, including year, make, model, and fitment notes. Listing imports are still being configured. This tool is for our own seller account and does not offer public account registration.
We store API credentials and authorization tokens needed to access authorized services. We do not ask for or store your eBay password. eBay handles sign-in and consent.
Our notification receiver processes account-deletion notices supplied by eBay. These may contain a username, user ID, EIAS token, notification identifiers, timestamps, and signature information. Notices are stored privately for verification and follow-up. Hosting providers may also process operational request and security logs.
How we use information
We use product and compatibility information to match gaskets to motorcycles and display fitment results on NipponMoto.com. Credentials enable authorized API access. Deletion notices identify requests requiring follow-up.
The importer is not intended to retrieve buyer orders, payment information, or buyer messages. Product fitment information is displayed publicly. Authorization tokens and account identifiers from deletion notices are not intentionally displayed publicly.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the notification receiver and its private storage. BigCommerce hosts the storefront and fitment search. eBay provides APIs and account authorization. These providers process information as necessary to deliver their services.
We do not sell personal information processed by this tool or use it for targeted advertising.
Storage and security
Credentials are configured as Cloudflare secrets. Notification records are held in private Cloudflare storage. Fitment information and product mappings may be maintained in working files and BigCommerce theme assets.
Access is restricted to people and services needed to operate the tool. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain listing and fitment information while needed for catalog maintenance, credentials while needed for authorized access, and notification records while needed for verification and follow-up.
The receiver saves and verifies eBay account-deletion notices. Verified notices currently require manual action; automatic deletion across catalog files and storefront systems is not yet connected. Receiving or verifying a notice does not itself mean associated information has been deleted.
We review verified notices and identify and remove associated personal information, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Removing our application’s copy does not delete information held independently by eBay or other services.
Your choices and contact
You can revoke authorization through eBay’s third-party application access settings. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself delete previously stored information.

Changes
We will update this policy when our data handling changes and display the revised effective date.
